Show n Tell December 2010

First I better say sorry that I didn't take a photo of everything in show n tell this time. Some just came in after I had done the photos, a couple were missed, and the worst is I have a great photo of the label of Rikki's quilt, but no photo of the quilt! (I was going to take a photo, when people stopped standing in front of it, but never got back!) So sorry if your quilt is missing!

 This is the second wallhanging Gaye Miller has made using techniques she learnt in Hazel Foot's class. Gaye has made this for her step-Mother who loves frogs. Click on it to see the detail of quilted dragonflies for the frog to eat.

Shelia Udjur made this countdown to Christmas. 

 

Gaye Miller stitched this Christmas wallhanging. She is going to hang it at work to keep her going till Christmas!

Shirley Julian was insipired by Hazel Foot’s recent class and made ‘Secret Garden’ Close up below of the copper leaves, and see the sequin waste? Shirley said she really enjoyed all the different techniques that Hazel taught. 

Sue Farrier made these cushions for a couple that she house minded for. She also looked after their two lovely cats & made cushions with the cats photo’s as a thank you gift.

Lynda Parker made this bag from a club magazine. She said it’s very easy and plans to make more.
