Yesterday was our last meeting for 2010. It was a great day, with all our usual activities plus the Christmas Challenge. The Challenge this year was to use at least 5 Christmas buttons on an item. There were 17 entries, with the top 5 receiving a prize. (decided by viewers choice)
1st was this cool fabric Christmas card
2nd was this glitzy Christmas tree (the yoyo are made with a sequin fabric and really sparkled)
3rd is this cute snow man. Looks like he was sick of the cold! Just as well it’s summer here
4th was this lovely candle, with poinsettias
and 5th was a patchwork wreath. I really like the snowflake buttons, curved piecing and the jingle bells
