The beautiful pinks and reds don't seem to be showing up in my photos, so you'll just have use your imagination about the colours!
I couldn't get it all in the photo either :-(
I totally LOVED the use of stripes in this hexagon quilt, and don't you think the name is perfect?
The scalloped binding was the bees knees too!
Love the stripes and subtle colours
On to a few wall hangings from the Hoffman Challenge. This is my friend Rose's entry, and yay she go a Merit!
Best Of Show – Strength In Aroha by Karen Larsen, Te Aroha
Best Contemporary – Kaleidoscope Flutter by Angela Simpson, Timaru
This is the fabric for the 2014-2015 Challenge (It's already SOLD OUT)
Thanks for sharing some more quilts with us. Nice to see Rose's entry do well.
ReplyDeleteThe Symposium exhibition was full of lovely quilts. I find it interesting that you are showing photos of some that I can't remember seeing. We are all different, with different tastes, and we are drawn to different things which take our fancy. Viva la difference, I say!!
