I only took a few photos to share, so lets get into it.
Beautiful sampler quilt, so big was hard to get in photo! The workmanship was amazing and they are 4 inch blocks! I really think this should have received a ribbon.
______________
Another masterpiece that was ribbon-less, but very much a winner for me.
close up of the wonderful zig zags, made by off set half square triangles.
Loved this quilt all in neutral fabrics. the background of the quilt had drunkard path blocks, the border was made with double wedding ring blocks and then daisies appliqued on top!
Yay it did win a ribbon! Below a close up of one of the double wedding ring border blocks.
The whole quilt is really amazing, the more you look the more you see.
Great curved piecing and loved the colours too.
Loved how all the straight lines and hard angles still make a realistic face.
This simple modern design really appealed to me.
You were good Leanne you took note of the makers, I did not! Weren't there some stunning quilts!

ReplyDeleteThanks for mentioning my quilt, it's exciting to see it popping up on different blogs! I'm glad lots of people enjoyed it. A lovely selection of quilts in this post too, I don't think I would be able to choose just a few to feature!
ReplyDeleteI also attended a Festival of Quilts in NYC! It was really well planned, and every design of quilt was really amazing. I think the event planner did an amazing work there. You have shared amazing designs of quilts dear. Can I buy any quilt from here?
