Auckland Festival of Quilts

There were hundreds of quilts on display, but I the more simple designs appealed to me this time.
Here’s my favourites.

I have been meaning to make one of these scrappy quilts for a long time.

This quilt was very different to everything else on display, so was a refreshing change.

This was a very simple design, but I really loved it. It was very ‘fresh’ and ‘clean’. 
The quilting of wavy lines really made the quilt special.

  1. You've got a few of my favourites in there too. I really liked the 100 fields of happiness as it was just so different. And the Jurei (years of a tree one), so much more interesting than a nine patch ;)
