Easy Street Round Up

Well Christmas and New Year have come and gone. I hope everyone had a good holiday break and found some time to relax.
I haven't really done any more on my Easy Street, but I'm kind of glad as that means I haven't done step 7 which was making the setting triangles, so Easy Street could be put on point. I have decided I want mine straight set.

Here's some of my pieces set out, ( I still haven't cut out my purple centre squares )

Anyway as I'm not going to do any more at the moment (It's too hot to sew!) It's 28 degrees celsius in my dining room :-(
I thought I would use my EQ7 to draw up what the quilt will look like as a 'Straight Set'

  1. oh I like this! Hope it cools down for you soon - hard to believe that I am in dead of winter (and last night the furnace was broken) - too bad you can't ship 'some' of the heat here.

  8. I'm thinking that I would not complain about 28C. That's a very comfortable temperature. Admittedly, I'm in the middle of winter and it's around 19C. today, that's ok too. Enjoyed seeing your blocks--great color combination and lovely design. It will be a knock-out quilt!

  9. I love the straight set of your Easy Street. I see a 4-patch turned around in your block. Should be an easy fix. There's lots of sewing at the end but the results are fantastic. You'll get there!

  10. I love your layout Leann, it is looking so good. I have to confess that I am at the beginning of the process with mine, but I have started. Looking forward to seeing what you finally decide to do with it.
