Embelllished with Notions
And a little more from the Hamilton Show. The sign below says it all really....
I thought this spider was very clever, made from a zip and safety pins.
I liked how this one was joined together by a zip and safety pins.
Loved the traditional block used and all the notions, especially the needle threaders as leaves on the zipper rose.
Cute little 'inchies' made up this entry.
Of course there were many more entries, these were just the ones that appealed to me :-)
Okay I must get ready for work,

Road to Colour
Photos from the 'Road to Colour' Exhibition at the Hamilton Craft and Quilt Fair.
The Road to Colour is made up of a group of traditional and contemporary quilters who meet four times a year. Their focus is working with colour.
I loved the black and white prints as background and large florals as centre pieces.
These teapots were fun.
This was much redder than it shows here and really glowed.
This the quilt that won Viewer Choice in 2013, it was wrapped around a pillar at the beginning of the Road to Colour display. I love the quilting (detail below).
