The best of show “Is It Art” by Melanie Martin of Tauranga.
I thought this was a superb quilt, I especially loved the clever use of ombre fabrics that did make the word QUILTING look like it was spray painted.
The quilting was also really fantastic and I wish I had taken more photos to show that, but you can see a little detail of the quilting in the background of the label photo below.
