Interesting article on stuff.co.nz the other day about the Tawera Shopping Centre in Whangarei.
It has the biggest solar energy installation in New Zealand on it's roof. As you can see most of the panels are on the roof of Spotlight.
The Mega Centre's owners hope it will offset 80 to 90% of the Centre's air conditioning costs.

Quilt top made by Wendy Magee. It is for a 40th birthday at Labour Weekend, so Wendy will be busy quilting it between now and then.
